Testimonials

"When I first met Chris I was overwhelmed and angry with the whole SEN system. Chris has an ability to cut through the complexity of autism, SEN and EHCP processes and explain things in a way parents can truly understand. What sets him apart is genuine empathy — he understands how exhausting and emotional the journey can be, while providing calm, knowledgeable guidance that keeps the child at the heart of every decision. His support made a real and lasting difference to our family".

"After the blow of multiple diagnosis and the uncertainty of the future, we met Chris Buckley. His warmth and humour instantly connected with my daughter and helped her to understand herself better and navigate her own individual world during the years she had him as her teacher. He provided her with tools and created an environment where she felt safe to be herself, to try new things and to grow at her own pace and time, without feeling pressured or judged. Thanks to Chris’s support, she made friendships that she has been able to keep ever since. We couldn’t have found a better person to support us. Thank you, Mr. B!

“My son has autism, moderate learning disabilities, and Tourettes and struggles with learning, confidence, and social and communication skills. When working with Chris Buckley, I saw progress in all areas and I feel Mr Buckley was instrumental in helping my son surpass my expectations”. .

"I only have good things to say about Chris.

His SEN experience spans approximately 20 years, during which time he has set up two specialist Autism classes one which he very successfully and empathetically managed for many years. Whilst he was head of the Specialist Autism Provision (in large mainstream primary school) teaching in the class my child was in, we had nothing but support and brilliant communication. He truly loved working with SEN kids.

Chris's knowledge of the EHCP process, the SEN journey and all the bits in between is very detailed. He understands how the Local Authorities work and how to consider the very specific needs of the child and how detailed these need to be to be met in an educational setting.

It is also very rare to find a SEN advocate and teacher who understands Trauma and the effect this has on school life and everyday life. This includes school trauma, family trauma and looked after child trauma. Chris has experience here and is able to support families with these as specific considerations.

He listens and advises in a very impartial way, but is also very convictious in his desire to ensure your child has their needs met, is in the best setting for them to learn and with the best support to facilitate this.

I cannot reccomend him enough".

Services

Parent & Family Guidance

We provide advice, guidance and practical support for families navigating the education system. Whether it is ensuring that support at school is the best it can be, advising on EHCP processes or liaising with local authorities, we can offer practical help that will improve outcomes for children and young people. We also offer workshops and one-to-one sessions to help parents feel more confident in supporting their child’s educational and pastoral needs both in the classroom and at home.

School Consultancy & Inclusion Support

We provide practical guidance on curriculum adaptation, classroom strategies, and creating environments where children with SEN can thrive. We are able to provide detailed individual education and support plans, resources, training, guidance and support for all school staff. We do not use ‘off the shelf’ support materials. We create uniquely tailored solutions that are practical and that work!

We work with schools and provisions to establish and develop inclusive practice, including setting up Specialist Support Centres or embedding SEN strategies into the wider school community.

Leadership & Staff Development

Drawing on our senior leadership experience, we offer mentoring and professional development for senior leaders, SENCOs, teachers and support staff. We can also support schools in preparing for OFSTED inspections, ensuring inclusion and strong SEN practice is at the heart of provision.

Emotionally-Informed Behaviour Support

We specialise in therapeutic support for behaviour using evidence-based approaches, helping schools and families understand behaviour as a form of communication. We design proactive, person-centred strategies and plans that reduce barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes. Again, this is achieved using an individualised approach centred on the person, the context and their strengths and needs.

Training

We deliver bespoke training for parents, carers, staff teams and leadership on a wide range of topics, including Autism, complex needs, inclusive teaching and Emotionally-Informed Behaviour Support. My sessions are designed to be practical, engaging, and immediately useful.

Alternative Education Support

As Specialist Teachers and leaders for alternative education provisions, we are able to offer support, guidance and bespoke plans for children, young people and specialist teachers who work outside of the framework of a school or any other type of educational institution
